Dirk Engels

Dirk has been working in the healthcare IT sector for over 10 years. He has acted as the project lead for several integration projects in countries ranging from Germany, Switzerland and Northern Ireland to Saudi Arabia. He has gained his experiences in the area of healthcare messaging standards whilst working for a large german HIS vendor and a German vendor of communication servers.

Dirk has been a member of the German HL7 technical committee for more than 8 years. During his various integration projects he has encountered as well as implemented all HL7 versions as well as many proprietary formats such as SAP's HCM and BAPI.
