Who Should Attend:
Anyone who wants to learn about the DICOM standard, ranging from people that deal with the standard on a high level such as managers, end-users and chief engineers, to implementors that want to gain knowledge of the standard and learn how to use the standardization documentation.
Course Materials:
Ringholm will provide each participant with handouts containing all materials covered in the training as well as other support materials.
What is covered:
This course will provide the attendee with a strong understanding and knowledge of the DICOM standard.
Much of the operation of a healthcare enterprise especially in the field of image communication between
radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) heavily relies on
the DICOM standard. Note that this training also covers the IHE Radiology Technical Framework.
