Overview of the IHE Profiles

Number of Days: 1 day, 09:00 to 16:30. Your instructor is available during lunch and after 16:30 for informal discussions about your specific area of interest or applications.

Dates:
This training has not been scheduled this year; it is only provided upon request.

Additional Information/Registration: Call +31 318 589 789, or e-mail us at Training@ringholm.com.

Who Should Attend: This workshop is ideal for vendors who are implementing IHE and want to conform to its profiles (the end product of the IHE process). It is also of benefit to those who would like to learn more about using these profiles in their own institution.

What is covered: The IHE (Integrating the Health Care Enterprise) activities have resulted in a series of profiles. You will get familiar with the IHE process and with a number of key products produced by that process. The focus of this training is on a number of profiles that can be used to support (inter-)organizational processes.

Notes:

  1. The IHE Radiology Technical Framework (based on the HL7 version 2 and the DICOM) standard and the IHE Laboratory Technical Framework (based on HL7 version 2) won't be discussed as part of this training, they will be discussed within the context of the HL7 version 2 training or the DICOM training.
