Who Should Attend:
This workshop is ideal for vendors vendors who are implementing IHE and want to conform to its profiles (the end product of the IHE process). It is also of benefit to those who would like to learn more about using these profiles in their own institution.
What is covered:
The IHE (Integrating the Health Care Enterprise) activities have resulted in a series of profiles. You will get familiar with the IHE process and with a number of key products produced by that process. The focus of this training is on a number of profiles that can be used to support the (inter-)organizational exchange of documents. Note that the widely used IHE Radiology Technical Framework won't be discussed as part of this training, it will be discussed within the context of the HL7 version 2 training or the DICOM training.
